The Magpul MOE SL Handguard is designed for AR-15/M4 platforms with a carbine-length gas system and A2 front sight assembly. Its reinforced, heat-resistant polymer construction includes M-LOK slots for compatible accessories and an integral riveted aluminum heat shield.

The carbine-length handguard uses the existing round front handguard retaining cap and rear spring-loaded delta ring. A front extension and lower lip help shield the user from the front sight assembly while maximizing usable handguard length.
